Man Arrested After Shooting At Occuppied Home in Chisago County

FISH LAKE TOWNSHIP (AP) - The occupants of a residence in Chisago County were taken from the home by an armored vehicle after a man began firing gunshots into the house.

Sheriff's officials say dispatchers received a 911 call from the home about 10:30 p.m. Sunday. The caller said an intoxicated man had fired at least five rounds into the house.

The Chisago County SWAT team was activated and removed the occupants. Negotiators eventually made contact with the man who was arrested after a short struggle. A female was found in the basement unharmed.

The 30-year-old man was taken to the county jail.
