ST. CLOUD - A man was arrested in St. Cloud on Saturday morning after allegedly breaking into a home and attacking another man for several hours.

The St. Cloud Police Department responded to a call for burglary at about 5:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of 36th Avenue North.

Officers found an adult man who left his home and called police from a neighbors house.

The victim said he was attacked for several hours in his home after an unknown man entered through an unlocked door.

Police searched the victims home and were able to find and arrest 21-year-old Corey Becker from Grand Rapids. Becker was taken to the Stearns County Jail to face charges of 1st degree burglary and assault.

The victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for injuries from the attack.
