MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A man wanted in a fatal bar shooting in Minneapolis two months ago has been arrested in North Dakota.

Forty-two-year-old Ron Powell of Minneapolis was arrested Friday in Fargo, N.D.

Powell was charged with second-degree murder, second-degree assault and illegal possession of a firearm in the death of 51-year-old Mark Stephenson.

Along with killing Stephenson, Powell also is accused of shooting and wounding his intended target, Anthony Collins, in a dispute over money and a car.

According to the complaint, Collins was celebrating his birthday in Champions Bar on Aug. 8 when he walked up to Powell and punched him. Powell fell to the floor, pulled a gun and fired three shots. Collins was shot in both legs and Stephenson in the femoral artery.
