BLOOMINGTON (AP) — A disturbance at a Mall of America food court has led to authorities arresting or citing at least 10 young people.

Deputy Bloomington Police Chief Denis Otterness says the 10 were arrested or ticketed on various charges at Monday night's skirmishes, including disorderly conduct, obstructing the legal process or giving false information to police.

All of those arrested or cited were juveniles, ranging in age from 12 to 15. Six were boys and four were girls.

In a statement, the Mall of America says mall security and Bloomington police "took the appropriate actions to control yesterday's events so business would not be disrupted."

Police say no one was hurt and there was no property damage. Police are not commenting on what may have led to the disturbance.
