ST. PAUL  (AP) - The majority of Minnesota delegates at the Republican National Convention in Florida support Texas Congressman Ron Paul for president. But, party leaders say they're confident Minnesota delegates and other Paul supporters will unite behind nominee Mitt Romney.

Minnesota Republican Party Chairman Pat Shortridge says the time for talking about what might have been is over - it's time to get to work on behalf of Romney.

Marianne Stebbins chaired Paul's Minnesota campaign. Stebbins says the national Republican Party and the Romney campaign should have done more to court Paul supporters. She says because the presidential race is so close, failure to reach out to Paul supporters could cost Romney the election. She says those who back Paul are angry that the party stripped some states of Paul delegates.
