ST. CLOUD -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced a $1.1-billion construction program for this season and among them are some projects already in progress here in central Minnesota.

Highway 23 is being expanded to four lanes between St. Cloud and Foley.  It should be completed by sometime in November.

Highway 10 between Clear Lake and Big lake is being re-surfaced and should be done by August. Project Manager Tim Paul says it will make for some slowdowns this summer.

Other projects to get underway this summer include the pedestrian bridge over Highway 23 at Wilson Avenue, re-surfacing work on highway 10 between Royalton and Little Falls, re-surfacing work on Highway 24 in Clearwater, I-94 in St. Augusta and Highway 23 from Cooper Avenue in St. Cloud to Park Avenue.
