Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10AM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, lower church, St. Cloud for Magdalen M. Lang, 94, of St. Cloud who passed away Wednesday at St. Benedict’s Care Center, St. Cloud. Rev. Scott Pogatchnik will officiate and burial will be in Assumption Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4-8PM TODAY Friday, December 4, 2015 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Parish prayers will be prayed at 4PM TODAY followed by St. Anne’s Christian Mothers all at the funeral home.

Magdalen was born on January 10, 1921 in Holdingford to Michael and Elizabeth (Zwack) Czech. She married Anthony “Tony” Lang on June 4, 1940 in Mayhew Lake. The couple shared their blessed day with Magdalen’s twin sister, Mary and Herman Lass. Magdalen and Mary were best friends throughout their lives, counting on one another as sister and friends. Magdalen worked as a waitress at the Original Pancake House and previously at Gemain Hotels hosting banquets. She was a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral; and very involved in church activities. Magdalen was a member of the Christian Mothers and Daughters of Isabella; she was strong in her faith. She enjoyed trips to the casino, square dancing, playing Solo, and bowling. Most importantly, her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Magdalen is survived by her children, Carol (Darrell) Kastner of St. Cloud, Bette (Don) Wieber of St. Cloud, Mary Jo Johnson of St. Cloud, James (Sandy) Lang of Golden Valley, Thomas (Marcia) Lang of Naples, Florida; Rita Kramer of St. Cloud, Terrence (Linda Barrett) Lang of St. Cloud; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren brothers, Alfred Czech of Cohasset, Norbert (Joann) Czech of Forest Lake; several sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony; daughter, Teresa; brothers, Otto, Sam, Roy, Willie, Matt, Martin, Lawrence, Jerome, Louis, Raymond; sisters, Catherine, Cecelia, Angeline, Josephine, Louise; and twin sister, Mary.
