MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Lynx have waived forwards Shae Kelley and Asia Taylor.

The team announced the moves Tuesday. The Lynx now have 12 players on their roster ahead of Thursday's official cut-down deadline.

Kelley, a 6-foot-1 forward from the University of Minnesota, was named to the All-Big Ten First Team in 2015 while leading the Gophers in steals, with 56, and ranked second in points, with 578.

Taylor was drafted by the Lynx with the 36th overall pick in the 2014 WNBA draft. She finished her rookie season by averaging 2.7 points and 1.4 rebounds per game while shooting 52.5 percent from the floor in 22 games for the Lynx.
