The Minnesota Lynx downed Seattle 79-55 to improve to 8-0.  The Lynx are 1 win away from equaling the best start in WNBA history.  The L.A. Sparks began the 2001 season with a 9-0 record.  Taj McWilliams-Franklin led the Lynx with 17 points and both Maya Moore and Candice Wiggins added 12 points for Minnesota.  The Lynx shot 54 percent from the field while Seattle shot 33 percent.

The Lynx played without Seimone Augustus.  She missed the game with a right quad strain.  The Lynx play at Tulsa at 7pm Saturday.
