ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — Lindsay Whalen scored 22 points and Seimone Augustus added 17 to help the Minnesota Lynx beat the Chicago Sky 75-72 on Monday in a showdown of unbeaten teams.

WNBA scoring leader Maya Moore, who came into the game averaging nearly 34 points, scored 14 for Lynx (5-0).

Elena Delle Donne and Jessica Breland each had 16 points while reserve Allie Quigley added a career-high 15 points for Chicago (4-1).

Trailing 75-72 with a few seconds left Delle Donne's desperation 3-pointer that would have tied the game bounced off the backboard and rim before falling off harmlessly.

She had tied the game at 63 with a long jumper with 6:33 to play and added a put back for a 65-63 lead with 5:02 showing. But the advantage didn't last as Tan White had back-to-back scores to give the Lynx a lead it never relinquished at 67-65.
