Lutheran Social Service Unveils Programs to Help Sex Trafficked Youth
BRAINERD -- There's a new resource for teens who are victims of sex trafficking in central Minnesota.
Lutheran Social Services in Brainerd is using a state grant to hire a Regional Navigator to help with connecting sex trafficked survivors to safe shelter and services, provide outreach, education and training to the community.
LSS will also open Saving Grace, a specialized foster care program for victims to get safe shelter and other services.
LSS spokeswoman Kathy Sauve says they've set up a toll-free hotline people can use to get help. That number is 1-866-824-3770.
