Lumberjacks Streak Hits Six With Sweep Of Steel

The Granite City Lumberjacks won a pair of games against the Twin City Steel over the weekend to run their winning streak to six games. The 'Jacks won 8-1 Friday night in Vadnais Heights, then came home for a 6-3 win.

The Steel actually led Friday's game 1-0 before Granite City rattled off eight unanswered goals throughout the duration of the game. Aidan Verbeke led the Lumberjacks with a pair of goals.

Drew Otto had a three point game (1 G, 2 A) on Saturday to pace the Lumberjacks.
