SAUK RAPIDS -- Two third period goals gave the Lumberjacks a 2-1 victory over the Twin City Steel Saturday.

Trailing 1-0 in a low-scoring affair, Will Mix tied the game with a power play goal midway through the final period.

Five minutes later, the Lumberjacks took the lead on another power play goal - this time by David Kenney.

It was an uncharacteristically low-scoring output by the Lumberjacks who have average 4.5 goals per game this season, but their defense remained strong - shutting the Steel out on their five power play opportunities.

With the win, the Lumberjacks improve to 13-2 on the season and will travel to play Minnesota on Thursday.
