SAUK RAPIDS -- The Granite City Lumberjacks dominated in an easy 4-1 win over the Alexandria Blizzard on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks first got on the scoreboard with a first period goal by Tommy Giller.

Two second period goals by Trevor Cornelious made the score 3-1 at the second intermission.

A goal by Lucas Carroll was effectively the "cherry on top" for the Lumberjacks, who also played well defensively -- allowing only 13 shots on goal for the game.

With the win, the Lumberjacks improve to 3-0 on the season and will travel to play the Twin City Steel on Friday night.
