Ludie Anderson, age 85, St. Cloud, MN, died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Ridgeview Senior Living, Sauk Rapids, MN.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Deer River, MN.

Ludie was born August 16, 1931 in Norwich, ND to Arthur and Ruth (Gilbert) Kinzell. She married Raymond Anderson on December 26, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN. They moved to St. Cloud in 1955. Ludie enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, being in the outdoors and spending time with her family. She also loved to travel, visited many places around the world with her favorite being Acapulco, Mexico. Ludie was a great cook and made a difference in other peoples lives. Her door was always open, would take in others and would help anyone anytime.

Survivors include sons, Michael Anderson of Montrose, MN; Bob (Nancy) Anderson of St. Cloud, MN; Jerry (Ann Litchy) Anderson of St. Cloud, MN; sister, Betty Dexter of Minneapolis, MN; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond on January 26, 2006, sons, Gary Anderson on July 5, 1975 and Dennis Anderson on November 23, 2002, sister, Marge Hamblin and brothers Bill and Gene Kinzell.
