Lucille Harriet Winkler, 98, Becker

March 3, 1917 - March 20, 2015

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Becker for Lucille H. Winkler, age 98, who passed away Friday at CentraCare Health System, Monticello. Rev. Joclyn Bakkemo will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Friday at the funeral home.

Lucille was born Mar. 3, 1917 in Millner, SD to Henry & Harriet (Yoast) Niesen. She married Edwin Gordon Kalina and he passed away in 1964. Lucille married Edwin Charles Winkler and he passed away in 2007. She worked as a cook at Hennepin County General Hospital for over 30 years. Lucille loved going for drives and embraced that as her independence. She enjoyed playing cards, working alongside her husband, camping and traveling in the family motorhome.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Denny) Anderson of Becker and Carol Boecker of Loretto; sister, Bette Eccles of Maple Grove; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Edwin Kalina and Edwin Winkler; and son, Gary Niesen Kalina.
