The Chicago White Sox topped the Minnesota Twins 5-2 Sunday afternoon at Target Field. The Sox won the series three games to one and improve to 49-74 on the season.

Sam Deduno struggled to throw strikes and allowed five runs on eight hits in five innings of work. Chicago scored one run in the first inning for a second consecutive game, then took a 3-1 lead with a pair of runs in the third.

Twins outfielder Josh Willingam's RBI double cut the lead to one run in the bottom of the third inning, but Chicago scored two more in the fifth for a 5-1 lead.

The Twins will play the Mets for a one game series Monday afternoon at Target Field. The game is a make-up date for a rained out game that was originally scheduled to  be played in May.
