The Timberwolves surprisingly welcomed top scorer and rebounder Kevin Love back Wednesday night but Minnesota still fell to Denver 101-94.  Denver out-scored the Wolves 32-21 in the 4th quarter to spoil Love's return.  Love wasn't expected back until early December from a broken right hand.  He wore a brace around the knuckles but it didn't effect his shot.  Love was 12-25 from the field for 34 points and he added 14 rebounds.

Love was just 2-9 from 3-point range.  J.J. Barea added 12 points in 20 minutes coming back from a sprained foot.  Nikola Pekovic returned from a sprained ankle to score 10 points.  Danilo Gallinari led Denver with 19 points.

The Wolves fall to 5-5 and will start a west coast swing in Portland Friday night at 9pm, pregame on WJON at 8:30.
