Louise A. Parker, 82, St. Cloud

Louise A. Parker, age 82, of St. Cloud, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Benson Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the North Star Cemetery St. Cloud, MN.

Louise was born on May 5, 1934 in Elmdale, MN to Anton and Anna (Kotzer) Kopka. She was married to William Parker on November 24, 1956 in Denver, CO. They were married until his death on January 19, 1993. Louise was a loving and devoted wife and mother who loved her grandchildren very much. She worked in the kitchens of district 742 for 13 years. Louise was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading and solving word find puzzles.

Louise is survived by her children, Sue Parker, Zanesville, OH, Wayne (Karen) Parker of St. Cloud, Shirley (Kelly) Blommel of St. Cloud, MN, Thersa Parker of Osakis, Brooke Parker of St. Cloud, MN; brother Louis (Dione)Kopka of Blaine, MN; sister, Diane (Marvin) Posch of Avon, MN 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Husband.
