Loudest Cars in State Compete in Midwest Noise Pollution Contest [VIDEO]
CLEARWATER - These cars give a new meaning to the phrase "Drop The Bass".
Dozens of cars gathered at Rigs to Rods Service and Performance in Clearwater this afternoon to participate in the Midwest Noise Pollution Car and Audio Contest.
Cars with stereo systems so loud, they can float t-shirts from the inside due to the pressure....seriously.
"They call it acoustic levitation" Andrew Marshall said during the competition.
These cars have such huge and complex stereo systems, they may take years to complete.
"You have to be a mechanic, an electrician, a troubleshooter, a welder, and a carpenter" Marshall said.
Click the video above to see these cars in action-including a view from the inside...My head is still spinning from the experience.
