Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Lorraine M. Nolden, age 97, of Sartell, who died Wednesday at Country Manor Health Care Center. Rev. Scott Pogatchnik will officiate and burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the church in St. Cloud.

Lorraine was born May 24, 1918 in St. Cloud to Joseph & Margaret (Schnettler) Raymond. She married Francis “Bones” Nolden on September 29, 1942 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Lorraine lived in St. Cloud most of her life and was a cook at St. Augustine’s Catholic School for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Augustine’s Church, Christian Women, Daughters of Isabella and Our Lady of Mercy Mission Group. Lorraine enjoyed knitting, sewing, embroidery and cooking. She was very dedicated, volunteering at church and the Salvation Army for many years. Her faith and family were very important to her.

Survivors include her children, Dennis & Carol of Rice, Carol Huling of St. Cloud, Michael & Laurie of St. Cloud, Patricia & Barry Lortz of Brooklyn Park; sister, Lucille Lochen of Pearl Lake; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis on April 24, 1960; daughter, Rosemary Viste; brothers, Eugene and Leslie Raymond.
