Long Prairie Home Destroyed By Fire

LONG PRAIRIE - A Long Prairie family has lost their home in a fire.

The fire department was called to the home at 416 6th Street Northeast at 4:00 p.m. yesterday (Monday).

The fire started in the chimney and spread into the house.

The homeowner was not there at the time.

The family dog died in the fire.

The house suffered extensive damage.
