Local Warehouse Employees Raise Thousands in Funds, Food for Catholic Charities [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – The warehouse employees of Bluestem Fulfillment Inc. in St. Cloud have made a very significant donation to St. Cloud Catholic Charities. In the span of two weeks, the 270 warehouse employees collected 3,000 lbs. of food and raised nearly $4,000.

The employees delivered the donation to Catholic Charities Emergency Services on Tuesday morning.

This is Bluestem employee Penny Hanes’ second year of involvement with the drive. She says it’s a fun challenge for a good cause.

All told, the $4,000 in funds can purchase between $16,000 and $36,000 worth of groceries.
