Local Veterans Hop on Their Bikes For Thanks For Freedom Event [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD -  Dozens of local veteran bikers took part in the Clearwater Legion Riders Thanks for Freedom Ride and Concert event.

Bikers braved the rainy weather conditions to ride around Central Minnesota and raise money for homeless veterans.

The event was also held to display area support for local Minnesota veterans. The trip started in St. Augusta, with stops in Sauk Centre, the St. Cloud VA and the Clearwater American Legion.

Bikes and cars filled the long driveway into the St. Cloud VA near the halfway point for an outdoor concert. Hundreds of veterans and their families had a chance to meet and spend time with other veterans in the area.

The Clearwater Legion Riders from Post 323 organized the event.
