ST. CLOUD - Attention St. Cloud foodies - there's a new dog in town.

Step Brothers Wieners and More, located in Centennial Plaza, is an order-at-the-counter style restaurant offering a variety of hot dogs, sandwiches and soups.

The shop, which has only been in business since Friday, is the brainchild of siblings and St. Cloud natives Jeremy, Mark and James Reisinger, in partnership with their adopted "step brother" and lifelong friend John Kosiba - all of whom are featured in an awkwardly-staged "family photo" in the center of the dining area.

Kosiba says the food-loving bunch has been scheming to open a restaurant for years, with a goal of offering authentic, reasonably priced items that you can't otherwise find in St. Cloud.

Kosiba says the group locked in on the Centennial Plaza location about 6 months ago. They spent time surveying the St. Cloud restaurant landscape, and the idea for a hot dog cafe arose.

Now, the Stepbrothers menu boasts 9 different styles of dogs - including the recognizable Chicago, Coney Island and chili dogs, along with more unique concoctions like bleu cheese and buffalo dogs.

In addition to their unique menu, the group of close friends has a sense of humor. They're soliciting for customers to bring in their own "awkward family photos" to hang around the restaurant.

Step Brothers hasn't started advertising yet, but Kosiba says they've seen a steady stream of word-of-mouth business nonetheless.

"Step Brothers Wieners and More" will be open Monday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
