Local Professor Says Threats Against The U.S. Will Continue [AUDIO]
COLLEGEVILLE - How will the killing of Osama bin Laden affect the United States battle against terrorism? Ken Jones is a professor of American Foreign Policy at the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University. He says, at least in the short term, his killing will be a signal to other terrorists.
However, Jones says even though bin Laden was still the most well known terrorist, he probably hasn't been directly involved in terrorist operations for a while now.
Jones says in the long run bin Laden's death probably won't have much of an impact on the on-going terrorist threats against the United States.
