Local Musician Raises Funds To Create Pop Album [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud area musician is making his dream of sharing his music with the world a reality, thanks to the generosity of his listeners.

22 year-old SCSU grad Chase Binnie finished raising over $2,000 on May 10th through the donation website "Kickstarter."

He then used the money from 66 project backers to professionally mix and master his original solo pop album, "I Love My Life," at Playback Studios in Los Angeles, as well as design and produce the 7-song album on CD.

Binnie says he's been writing and playing music his whole life. His goal is to use music to uplift and inspire people - and remind them to stay true to the things that make them happy.
