ST. CLOUD - We now know St. Cloud Regional Airport will be flying to Mesa, Arizona, but a question remains - who will be using the service?

The answer, at least according to one local man, is a lot of people.

Steve Little is a St. Cloud resident who owns a home just outside of Mesa. He's familiar with a lot of central Minnesotans who spend time in the Mesa area each year, and foresees many people - both local and from the state as a whole - taking advantage of the flights.

Little has been traveling back and forth between St. Cloud and Mesa for the last two years. He says he and his wife have been flying to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport via Fargo to avoid the congestion and expensive parking of the larger Minneapolis and Phoenix Airports.

A formal announcement on exactly which airline has been selected, and when service will begin, is coming up this afternoon.
