Local Food Truck to Participate in National Competition [VIDEO]

CLEARWATER - A food truck from Clearwater is capturing national attention this year.

"Just North of Memphis" is a barbeque food truck in Clearwater owned by Jon and Kristy Bigalk. For ten days, Just North of Memphis will head out west to participate in the "Best of the West" rib cook off in Reno, Nevada.

"We've been one of 24 teams to be invited to this event from around the country, and they're the very best teams, so we feel pretty honored." Bigalk said.

Being a local food truck in Minnesota, this food truck still has strong roots in Memphis style barbecue.

"The Memphis is a real part of our history" Bigalk said, "My Aunt and Uncle lived out in Memphis, in fact my uncle is one of only eight to be inducted into the barbecue hall of fame"

Just North of Memphis can be found right off of Highway-94 when they aren't participating in a national competition.
