AVON -- Four local farms will be featuring a variety of produce, herbs and livestock at the 5th Annual Festival of Farms tomorrow (Saturday).

Jim Chamberlin is the Chair for the Central Minnesota Chapter. He says the "Stearns County Farm Crawl" is a great way for farmers and consumers to interact and share ideas.

Four Chapters of the Sustainable Farming Association will connect local food enthusiasts with farmers.

The four stops in Central Minnesota are:

Baker's Acres, 36861 Co. Rd. 9, Avon, MN 56310
Emmerich's Produce, 34114 Peach Dr, Albany, MN 56307
Dancing Bears Farm, 12822 County Road 51, St. Joseph, MN  56374
Common Ground Garden, College of St. Benedict, 104 Chapel Lane, St. Joseph, Minnesota 56374.

Chamberlin says the "Stearns County Farm Crawl" continues to attract many people.

Those in attendance will see where their food comes from and can enjoy live music, bossy bingo, kid’s activities, and learning from exhibitors during registration and lunch.

A meal prepared by Nick's Third Floor will be provided using all locally produced meat and vegetables.

Registration is $15 in advance, $20 at the door and free to Sustainable Farming Association members.

The Festival of Farms is a state wide event. The Farm crawl runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
