Local 411- St. Cloud Fire Vs. Police Department Football Game

WHAT

Ready for some family fun?  The Saint Cloud Fire Department and Police Department will be playing a game of football on Saturday, September 20th at noon.  Admission to this event is free, and will be held at the SCSU Husky Field at noon on Saturday.

WHY

All proceeds from this event will be donated to Tanner's Team Foundation.  Although admission is free, donations will be accepted.  The Sauk Rapids Police K-9 unit will also be on hand for an exciting half time presentation, with some surprises for everyone.

THE FOUNDATION

Tanner's Team Foundation was created in 2011 to help families that are facing life threatening illnesses or serious injuries. Tanner Fuls was diagnosed at the age of 11 with MDS, a form of pre-luekemia, and passed away in November of 2010.

MISSION

The mission of Tanner's Team Foundation is to carry on the spirit of Tanner, through helping families that are facing these same type of daily battles.  The foundation helps cover expenses incurred during a child's care and treatment.  This can include helping with household bills, transportation, housing, etc.
