LITTLE FALLS -- One of the biggest arts and crafts fairs in the Upper Midwest is going on this weekend in downtown Little Falls.

Over 600 artisans and vendors from all over the country are bringing their unique creations to the people of central Minnesota this Saturday and Sunday.

"It feels like we're throwing this great big party," says Debora Boelz of the Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. "The town really rolls out the red carpet for this event."

Boelz has helped organized the event -- a process which takes about 10 months -- for the past 13 years and says over 100,000 people will visit the fair this weekend.

"There are people who drive hundreds of miles to what we have right here in our own backyard," Boelz says. "We actually fill hotel rooms from St. Cloud to Wadena."

"If you haven't seen it, come on out," Boelz says. "It's just a great place to be."

The Little Falls Arts and Crafts Fair runs from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Free parking is available at the Morrison County Fairgrounds with a shuttle bus to the fair.

Once you've visited Little Falls, head on over to Rice for their arts and crafts fair on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
