Little Falls Man Sentenced for Spitting at Police

LITTLE FALLS -- A Morrison County judge has sentenced a Little Falls man to prison in a case where he spit on a Little Falls Police Office.

39-year-old Nathaniel Brimson pleaded guilty today (Wednesday) to 4th degree assault on a peace officer/transfer of bodily fluids. He was sentenced to one year and three months in prison.

Brimson was arrested August 17th after officers responded to a disturbance at the fairgrounds. Brimson was placed in the back seat of a squad car and video surveillance captured him yelling and threatening the officer and spitting at him through the protective screen.
