Little Falls - A Little Falls Man has been found guilty of selling drugs in a school zone.

A Morrison County jury today (Tuesday) convicted 21-year-old Edward Lapenotiere junior of two counts of selling narcotics in a Little Falls School zone. He was found guilty of Controlled Substance Crime in the 2nd Degree (Heroine) and Controlled Substance Crime in the 3rdDegree (Vicodin)

On August 20 of last year a Morrison County Deputy learned from an informant that they could buy heroin and Vicodin from Lapenotiere at his home, which is within one block of Lindbergh Elementary and Community Middle School.

Lapenotiere will be sentenced on November 19th.  He faces 78 months in prison according to the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines.
