Lindsey Johnson, 25, died peacefully Thursday, November 26th surrounded by her family and her beloved dog Easton.

After being diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma three years ago, Lindsey fought fierce and tirelessly with an amazing and inspiring attitude. Lindsey graduated from Cathedral High School in 2009 where she enjoyed playing soccer and hockey for the St. Cloud Icebreakers. She was a 2013 graduate of the College of Saint Benedict.

Her adventurous spirit was reflected in her participation in the Les Voyageurs program and a trip to Spain. She enjoyed many other unique travels with her fiancé, Reggie. Lindsey was an exceptionally talented and generous artist who shared her many gifts with those she loved.

Lindsey is survived by her parents, Gary and Mary (Schindler) Johnson, fiancé, Reggie Fraley, sister, Nicole (and Aaron Blackmore), and her beloved dog Easton. Grandparents: John and Evelyn Schindler and Theresa and Jerry Johnson.

Aunts and Uncles: Susan and Brian Frericks, Carl Schindler, Jane Kirby, Deb and Steve Herlofsky, Julie and John Taufen, and Diane and Kevin McGrew.
Cousins: Makayla and Makenzie Frericks, Gregory and Steven Kirby, Adam and Courtney Schneider, Ryan and Eric Schneider, and Tasha Herlofsky.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 30, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29 and after 9:30 a.m. on Monday, both at the St. Joseph Parish Center Heritage Hall in St. Joseph.

Her family would like to thank family and friends for their continued support and a special thank you to the Mark Zimmer Foundation, CentraCare Hospice nurse “Deb”, U of M Journey Clinic providers, Dr. Emily Greengard, Dr. Katherine Dusenberry, Melissa Claar, and Jodi Dahl for their loving care. Lindsey will be missed by all on earth and will be entertaining all the angels above :)
