CHANHASSEN (AP) - Lightning strikes accompanying strong thunderstorms have done some damage in a tiny Minnesota tourist town which jokingly bills itself as the "restaurant capital of the world."

Lightning sparked a fire which destroyed one dining spot the Dorset House restaurant, and caused significant damage to another, Companeros.  Both were in the same building that ignited early Thursday.

Dorset with a population of about two dozen people is the community in Hubbard County where a 3-year-old boy was elected honorary mayor in 2012 and served two unofficial terms.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service says severe wind gusts blew the roof off another restaurant about an hour down the highway in Hewitt. Otter Tail County sheriff's officials say winds were strong enough to push a pickup truck off Highway 210.
