Lifeguards Rescue Toddler From YMCA Pool

EAGAN, Minn. (AP) - Lifeguards at a YMCA pool in Eagan have rescued a 2-year-old child.

Police say the boy was discovered floating in the pool face down on Monday. Two lifeguards pulled the child from the water and performed CPR for three to five minutes.

The toddler had a pulse and was breathing when paramedics arrived. Reports say he was taken to Children's Hospital in St. Paul and has since been released.
