Lester “Dean” Watson, 66, Zimmerman

Lester “Dean” Watson, age 66, of Zimmerman, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. He was born on February 24, 1949 in Mount Pleasant, Iowa the son of Herman and Mary (Hunt) Watson.

Dean married the love of his life Judy Champeau on a beautiful warm day, April 24, 1970 in St. Paul. He enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, canoeing, and exercising. Dean was a wonderful, loving, gentle, patient man; who walked strongly in his faith and surrounded himself with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Dean is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy of Zimmerman; children, Shane (Shelby) of Silverdale, WA, Molly Steeber of St. Francis; siblings, Martha “Marty” Buchanan of IA, Karen Shull of IL, Curtis Pefferman of IA, Cheryl Sanders of IA; grandchildren, Campbell, Isaac, Madelyn, and Gabriel. He was preceded in death by his parents.
