Legendary Folk Artist Judy Collins At Paramount Theatre [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - Legendary folk singer Judy Collins is performing in downtown St. Cloud tonight (Monday). "An Evening With Judy Collins" is at 7:30 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre.

Collins released her debut album in 1961.  She says being a musician in the 1960's was a great experience.

Collins - who is now 74 years old- has released over 50 albums in her career.

Collins says the music industry is a lot different today, compared to when she started in 1961. She says the internet has changed a lot - both for the better and the worse.

In addition to singing, Collins has also written several books. Her latest is her memoir "Sweet Judy Blue Eyes". She writes about her turbulent childhood, her rise to fame, her romance with Stephen Stills, and her battles with depression and alcoholism.
