ST. CLOUD - If you can't wait for spring, there's a couple workshops that will help you get in the mood.  The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is hosting the event tomorrow (Thursday) at the River's Edge Convention Center.

The first one is on "honey bees and beekeeping".  You'll learn about bees, the benefits they provide to farms and gardens, and the challenges they face.  The session runs from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., and costs $25.

The other session is on "post-harvest handling for vegetable gardens".  It will focus on the growing popular trend for locally grown produce.  That session runs from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and the cost is $40.

For more information about either of these, you can call the Minnesota Department of Agriculture at (651) 201-6012.
