UNDATED - Law enforcement agencies statewide will step-up their enforcement of the Ted Foss Move Over law tomorrow (Wednesday).

Minnesota's Move Over Law states that when you're traveling on a road with two or more lanes, you must keep over one full lane away from stopped emergency vehicles.  You're also expected to slow down, if you can't move over a lane.

If you don't take these actions you could be fined $1,000.

To date in 2011, The State Patrol has cited 728 motorists for Move over violations, while 23 trooper vehicles have been hit and nine troopers have been injured.

Trooper Ted Foss was killed August 31st, 2000 by a passing vehicle as he was responding to a crash scene on the shoulder of I-90 in Winona.
