Larry W. Cox, 67, Clear Lake

March 28, 1948 - September 21, 2015

Memorial Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 at South Santiago Lutheran Church in Santiago for Larry W. Cox, age 67, who passed away Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Mike Pancoast will officiate. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services Friday at the church.

Larry was born on Easter Sunday, March 28, 1948 in Anoka to Clinton & LoRayne (Sjölander) Cox. He married Sandra Wells on Jan. 4, 1969 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Eagan. Larry was a truck driver for Knife River since 1998. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, working on cars, taking trips on his Harley, going to train shows, and building train layouts.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra of Clear Lake; daughter and sons, Pamela (Dave Carr) Cox of Waconia, William Cox of Irvine, CA, Matthew Cox of Clear Lake, and Jonathan (Sara Stratton) Cox of St. Cloud; father, Clinton (Evelyn) Cox of Becker; sisters, Cynthia Cox of Clear Lake and Patricia Hoehle of Little Falls; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin & Bertha Wells of Bloomington; brother-in-law, Douglas (Bonnie) Wells; sister-in-law, Bonnie Jean Nelson; grandchildren, Clinton, Carter, and Samantha Cox; Samantha’s mom, Elizabeth Tyler; step grandchildren, Sophia and Tatum Stratton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his mother, LoRayne; and brother, Gregory.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
