LaRose E. (Press) Goman, 89, St. Cloud

September 9, 1925 - July 10, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud for LaRose E. (Press) Goman, age 89, of St. Cloud who passed away at her home on Friday, July 10, 2015. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

Family and friends may call after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Church in St. Cloud. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

LaRose was born on September 9, 1925 in St. Paul to Joseph and Teckla (Hollenkamp) Press. She married Daryl Goman on November 30, 1946 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. LaRose lived most of her married life in St. Cloud. Daryl passed away in 1996. She married Al Mayavski on December 31, 2004 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church. She was a member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church and Rosary Sodality, the Christian Women, the Daughters of Isabella, the Eagles Aerie # 622 Auxiliary, and the V.F.W. post #428 Auxiliary.

LaRose will be best remembered for demoing at the area Coborn Stores.

She is survived by her husband Al; children, Bruce (Pamela Allie) of Onamia, Barbara Hute (Michael Everett) of Warroad, and Mary Goman of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Aaron Goman, Angela Goman, Tigh Staneart, Joel Staneart, Ross Staneart, and Ryan (Jane) Goman; great-grandchildren, Noah, Fiona, LaRose; and extended family and friends.

LaRose was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Daryl; sons John and Steven; brothers and sisters, Patricia Kraus, Richard Press, Jeanette Brutger, Raymond Press, Melvin Press, and Joseph Press.
