CLEARWATER -- Give yourself extra time if you're driving along I-94 near Clearwater today and tomorrow.

Both right-hand lanes are closed just east of Clearwater to install guard structures and a temporary median barrier as part of the CapX2020 power line project.

The work is being completed for the stringing of power lines along the Interstate.

Crews will close the left-hand lanes in each direction tomorrow from about 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The helicopter work and implosive connector work is expected to last through October. MnDOT reminds you to keep your eyes on the road and not be a gawker.
