The Lakers beat the Timberwolves 100-94 at Target Center Sunday night. The loss drops the Wolves to 5-18 on the season.

Shabazz Muhammad led all scorers with 28 points for Minnesota on 12-21 shooting while also pulling down nine rebounds. Andrew Wiggins added 16 points on 4-12 shooting for the Wolves.

Kobe Bryant scored 26 points on 7-20 shooting to lead LA to the win. Bryant hit a free throw halfway through the second quarter to pass Michael Jordan for third all time in scoring in NBA history.

The Wolves play at Washington Wednesday night.
