ST. CLOUD – A Kwanzaa celebration will be held tomorrow (Saturday) in St. Cloud.  The 16th Annual Community Celebration is from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Whitney Senior Center.

If you go, you’re asked to bring a dish to pass.  If you have questions you can call 308-2553.

Kwanzaa was first celebrated in 1966, after the Watts riots in Los Angeles 1966. It’s a non-religious celebration that promo African-American culture.  It traditionally runs for seven days from December 26th through January 1st.
