Kraig Menke, 51, Sartell

Services celebrating the life of Kraig Menke, age 51 of Sartell, will be 7:30 PM, Thursday, April 27 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud. Kriag died Friday in a motorcycle accident in Sauk Rapids. There will be a visitation from 4-7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Kraig was born July 1, 1965 in St. Cloud to Virgil and Eileen (Evans) Menke. He has lived all of his life in the St. Cloud area. In the late 1990’s, he opened his own business, Audio Video Innovations, where he installed audio and video equipment in homes and businesses. His business involved simple installations to very high end home theatre and sports bar equipment. He also enjoyed hockey, tennis, and wood working. He also had a passion for motorcycle racing. He was a perfectionist in his work and gained the respect and friendship of many of his clients.

Kraig is survived by his mother, Eileen Menke, St. Cloud; his brother, Jeff (Jodi) Menke, Monticello; his fiancé, Stacey Shegrud and her son, Colton Shegrud.

He is preceded in death by his father, Virgil Menke in 2003.
