Kohinoor Bar and Grill Opens in Downtown St. Cloud [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD -  A new restaurant featuring Indian cuisine has opened in downtown St. Cloud.

Kohinoor Bar and Grill officially opened on Wednesday and is located at 17 7th Avenue South, next to Jets Pizza.

The restaurant features a full bar and hopes to appeal to the lunch and late-night crowd. The bar and dining area has a capacity for around 100 customers. Co-owner Taj Sidhu says they are ready for college kids to stop by during weekends.

The menu features several Indian style dishes along with grilled sandwiches, salads and kabobs. Co-owner and head chef Kam Sidhu says he thinks people will enjoy having kabobs with a few drinks.

Kohinoor is open from 11:00 a.m to 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

The restaurant is named after what was once the largest diamond in the world that was mined in India.
