Klobuchar, Bachmann Ramp-up Fundraising Efforts

UNDATED -- It could be an indication of a political race to come.  Both U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann sent out fundraising e-mails to their supporters yesterday (Tuesday).

The dust has barely settled on the 2010 election, but rumors have already been swirling about Bachmann possibly challenging Klobuchar  for her Senate seat in 2012.

A Klobuchar spokesman has said they're concerned about a Bachmann because of her fundraising ability and her national profile.

The firm Public Polling Policy earlier this month said Klobuchar led Bachmann by 17 points in a hypothetical matchup.
