Kimberly K. Smoley, Sauk Rapids, 51

January 23, 1963 - August 5, 2014

Funeral services celebrating the life of Kimberly K. Smoley, age 51, of Sauk Rapids will be on Saturday August 9th at 11:00 AM at Love of Christ Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. Rev. Paul Henning will officiate. Inurnment will be at the Fairhaven Cemetery near Fairhaven at a later date. Kim died in her sleep on Tuesday morning from complications of her MS. Friends may call on Friday between 4:00-8:00 PM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and on Saturday one hour prior to services at the Church.

Kimberly was born January 23rd, 1963 in Litchfield to Norman and Sally (Juusola) Haag. Kim grew up in Kimball and graduated from Kimball High School in 1981. She married Roger Smoley on May 7th, 1994 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. She lived most of her married life in Sauk Rapids. She was employed for Conections-ECT and later was employed for Astound Communications. Kimberly was a member of Love of Christ Lutheran Church in St. Cloud.

Kim’s passions were family, specifically nieces and nephews. She loved baking, cooking and crafts. She will be fondly remembered by her adopted sons (Logan’s friends). Her generosity and kindness will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband Roger, Sauk Rapids, son, Logan at home, brothers and sisters, Debbie Mayer, Becker, Todd Haag (Terri) Annandale, Becky Fischer (Rick) Annandale, Tim Haag (Wendy) South Haven, Tom Haag (Kim) Clearwater, Holly Linn (Don) Maple Grove, Bruce Haag, Warba, Brian Haag (Rose) Annandale, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and niece Ashley Haag.
